A single mother is expanding her business after winning a £50,000 award for disabled entrepreneurs. Vanessa Heywood, 42, won the Stelios Award in 2010 and has used her prize money to expand her company, Tiny Mites Music, which provides music, movement and drama classes for young children. Ms Heywood, who suffers from multiple sclerosis, runs Tiny Mites Music classes in Herts and N. London, and is now delighted to be able to expand her classes across Essex with the help of a new franchise.
