A Chingford pub has reopened on 16 September following a significant investment that has led to the creation of four new jobs.
The County Arms pub on Hale End Road has received a complete makeover to bring a fresh look and feel to the popular venue.
As part of the investment, the pub has introduced a lighter colour scheme, and improved sports viewing with the addition of 4K TVs throughout.
The pub will retain its mouth-watering menu that features dishes such as chickpea, spinach and sweet potato curry, the ‘Big Daddy Burger’ with barbeque pulled pork and streaky bacon, as well as traditional apple crumble.
Joanne Fuller, general manager at the County Arms, said: “The County Arms is at the heart of the Chingford community, so we are excited to be able to offer a place for locals to enjoy a drink or meal in enhanced surroundings.
“The opening was a real success, with great feedback from guests on the fantastic new interiors. Guests can still enjoy their favourite dishes and we look forward to welcoming them in the coming weeks.”
